| The
Number Series-Series 10 Fascinated with the choices made towards the number of chairs and/or tables in the El Ciruelo Series, I realized that numbers were, in themselves, metaphorical and part of personal symbology. They appear in dreams, in identifications, in phones and addresses. Explorations began. Because numbers are specific one dimensional shapes, they also offer aesthetic concerns related to the integrity of the picture plane, also theoretically, a one dimensional surface. Interpretation of the symbology of numbers is an exploration in the many levels of meaning available. By definition, the approach to this series is one of abstraction and/or non-objective design concerns. |
